My writing explores the emotional journeys of women learning who they are through love, loss, and ambition. Rather than telling stories through ideology, I am interested in the quiet complexities of human connection — the choices we make, the relationships that shape us, and the moments that redefine who we become.

Born and raised in New York City, I did not consider myself a book lover until high school, when my classmates were exchanging books with each other. What started as a social pastime quickly grew into something deeper. From ninth through twelfth grade, my English classes nurtured that curiosity and helped me develop a genuine appreciation for storytelling.
My oldest sister introduced me to African American literature where women stood at the center of their own journeys — searching for identity, purpose, and self-understanding. Those stories left a lasting imprint on me.
I always dreamed of writing novels about women and their journeys, but for a long time, I didn’t have the courage to begin. While watching YouTube, I discovered a creator known as Read the Heart of Philadelphia, an everyday mom and wife much like myself. Seeing her share her writing journey made me realize that anyone can turn their thoughts into a story. After attending her novel-writing workshop and participating in a one-on-one consultation, I found the confidence to finally start. In 2024, I wrote my first book, TORN. Since then, I’ve been inspired to create stories about women navigating love, ambition, and the complex journey of becoming who they are truly meant to be.
Today, I continue to write emotionally driven stories centered on love, growth, and the journey of finding one’s voice.
